Private Health Funds that offer a rebate for Naturopathic consultations as at April 2012.

Different funds offer different rebates. Additionally, it depends which type of cover you have with the fund, whether and what amount of rebate they offer. In order to claim you will need the receipt/invoice you receive at the end of the consultation. Provider numbers change for individual funds, added below next to the funds’ name. Where there is no specified provider number, reference to my association number ATMS1087 usually does the trick. Unfortunately, at this time, Medicare does not rebate anything for natural therapies.

The health funds below offer rebates if your naturopath is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), which represents the largest group of qualified natural therapies practitioners in Australia. Mim is a member of ATMS and past Head of Naturopathy. She is also a member of the National Herbalist Association of Australia (NHAA).
